A new year is the beginning of a chance to start over, and a great time to begin family history research. With every new year more information becomes available.
In Queensland birth records can be easily searched for years up to 1920, marriage records up to 1945, and death records up to 1990, a fantastic resource for family history buffs.
There are always more newspapers being digitised, and these can provide a wealth of information, including birth notices, marriage notices, death notices, funeral notices and obituaries.. find these online at the National Library of Australia's Trove website.
Other great resources include immigration records and shipping lists made available online, and cemetery records are listed on internet sites too.
Why not make 2020 the year to search your family tree, and we can help, research fees are very affordable from AU$35, email firstname.lastname@example.org
