Genealogy... the search for Family History

When we are young the story of our family origins doesn’t seem to hold much importance, we are busy growing up and finding our purpose in life. When we are in our 20’s and 30’s time can be filled with family and work commitments, and searching for our roots seems to take a back seat. In middle age we may be empty-nesters and looking to travel or just enjoy a quieter time before the grand-kids come along, and family history is being created.

Our senior years and the retirement phase predominately provide the time and interest to explore where our own family tree has grown from, a sense of who we are and who were our ancestors.
